The NFL was looking for a way to engage fans at games using fantasy football stats. We developed an application for stadium control-rooms that would take real-time data from their robust Game Statistics and Information System (GSIS) and allow the operator to output visually rich and animated visualizations to the jumbotron display systems.

We developed the project completely in-house using Adobe Flex, Flash and Air. This gave us the ability to consume robust XML data and integrate it into complex animations, mix in live video feeds, add sponsor logos, and even output chroma-keyed feeds.  All the while, the operator was able to choose 4:1, 4:3, 16:9 and additional output formats.

The system - using off-the-shelf components running our software - allowed both the NFL and teams to avoid having to use expensive legacy systems and was so well-received that it was deployed across the nation for all 32 teams and used extensively at the Superbowl.
